We had a wax removal job on a 1,287 sq. ft home in Atlanta recently. There was a lot of wax to be removed from these natural hardwood floors. Guess what the culprit was for all of this wax? Household products that the previous homeowner used like Rejuvenate and Mop and Glo.
The high traffic areas were much worse. You can see how much wax is coming off of the floors. Once the wax was removed, a screening (different from sanding) was needed to remove the rest of the wax from these solid hardwood floors.
